Al-Hashd (1-4) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. Loser Nift Al-Shamal dropped to the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Ghaz Al-Shamal. Al-Hashd's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al Shurtah.

In the last game of round 5 Ghaz Al-Shamal was destroyed by Al Shurtah on the opponent's court 108-78.




Al Shurtah - Ghaz Al-Shamal 108-78

Rather expected game in Baghdad where 9th ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (1-5) was crushed by seventh ranked Al Shurtah (2-2) 108-78 on Wednesday. Al Shurtah moved-up to fourth place, which they share with Al Hilla. Ghaz Al-Shamal lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the ninth position with five games lost. They share it with Nift Al-Shamal.
