Jeremiah Wilson (ex Bambitious N.) agreed terms with Dijlah

Dijlah University (D2) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 35-year old Portuguese-American ex-international 205cm power forward Jeremiah Wilson (college: Tarleton State) for season 2023-24. Wilson played most recently at Bambitious Nara in Japanese B2 League. In 60 games he recorded 12.8ppg, 9.3rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1spg last season. Great year indeed as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Japanese B League D2 Honorable Mention and League Player of the Week (2 times).
The previous (2021-22) season he played at Umana San Giobbe Chiusi in Italian Serie A2 where in 38 games he averaged impressive 17.0ppg, 9.8rpg (#2 in the league) and 1.4apg in that year. A very good season in his career as he was selected to Eurobasket.com Italian Serie A2 All-Imports Team and League Player of the Week (3 times).
He also represented Portugal at the European Championships (FIBA EuroBasket) 2021 Pre-Qualifiers four years ago. His stats at that event were 3 games: 12.7ppg, 6.7rpg, 1.0spg, FGP: 57.1%, 3PT: 45.5%, FT: 70.0%.
Wilson is a very experienced player. Thanks to Wilson's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Australia and of course North America) in fourteen different countries. He has played previously professionally in Argentina (Sportivo 9 de Julio Rio Tercero), Australia (Cougars), Chile (Union Espanola Santiago), France (Nantes), Greece (AS Apollon Patras), Israel (Gilboa Galil), Mexico (Rayos de Wilsonrmosillo), Poland (MKS), Puerto Rico (Atleticos), Saudi Arabia (Ittihad), Turkey (Denizli), Italy (Cantu, Imola, Brescia and Rieti Kienergia), Portugal (Benfica) and Czech Republic (NH Ostrava).
Among many awards his team won Mexican CIBACOPA Regular Season in 2017. He was voted to Eurobasket.com Portuguese League All-Defensive Team back in 2016.
Wilson graduated from Tarleton State in 2010 and it will be his 14th season in pro basketball.
