Amin Abuhawwas

Al-Hashd Social Sports Club (Superleague) inked 29-year old American (has also Jordanian passport) 190cm guard Amin Abuhawwas (college: Mars Hill) for upcoming season 2023-2024 Abuhawwas is the second import player in the roster as Canadian Gentrey Thomas signed here earlier.

He played most recently at Al Ahli in Jordanian Premier League. In 21 games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 22.9ppg and recorded 4.7rpg, 6.0apg (top 5) and 2.0spg (in top 4) last season. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. A very good year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Jordanian Premier League All-Domestic Players Team and League Player of the Week (2 times). He also played for Dijlah

Abuhawwas also represented Jordan at the FIBA Asia Cup in Jakarta (Indonesia) last year. His team got to the Semifinals and his stats at that event were 7 games: 13.6ppg, 2.7rpg, 1.1spg, FGP: 40.0%, 3PT: 46.9%, FT: 77.8%.

He has played also professionally in Qatar (Al Shamal) and Iraq (Ghaz Al-Shamal).
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.

Abuhawwas attended Mars Hill College until 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
