Jeffery Stubbs (ex Ashab A.) is a second USA added to the roster of Al Kahraba

Jeffery Stubbs

Al Kahraba Electricity (Superleague) strengthened their roster with the addition of 32-year-old American 189cm point guard Jeffery Stubbs (college: Jackson State) for season 2023-24. Stubbs joins another USA player Darrious Agnew who is already on the roster.

He played most recently at Ashab Aljead in Egyptian Superleague.

The previous (2022) summer he played at Buffaloes in Vietnamese VBA where in 16 games he recorded very impressive stats: 19.1ppg, 6.8rpg, 6.6apg, and 2.7spg in 2022 year. He helped them to make it to the Vietnamese VBA final after they ended the regular season as the second-best team. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Vietnamese VBA Third Team.

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Latin America, and of course North America) in four different countries. Stubbs has played previously professionally in Mexico (Lenadores, Industriales, Caballeros de Culiacan, Huracanes and Aguilas Doradas), PBL (Buffalo 716ers), Bolivia (CAN Oruro), and Iraq (Al Mina and Al-Hashd).

Among many awards, he was selected Latinbasket.com All-Mexican CIBACOPA Guard of the Year back in 2018.

He graduated from Jackson State in 2014 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. Stubbs played also for Holmes Community College for 2 years.
