Al-Naft kept the Finals hopes alive as they overcame Zakho 89-73 in game 3. Al-Naft reduced to 1-2 in the series.
Al-Naft started with a 24-18 lead and added a 23-16 rally in the second period. Moreover, they posted a 25-21 run in the second frame, whilst Zakho replied with an 18-17 rally in the last stanza.
Edgar Sosa (190-F-1988, college: Louisville) top-scored for the winners with 29 points and Karrar Hamzah (187-G/F-1995) netted 24. Courtney Belger (187-G-1989, college: Quincy) answered with 26 points in the losing effort.
