Superleague Round 17: Al Kahraba is defeated by Al Shorta in a derby game

Dijlah was defeated at home 73-84 and even the fact of playing on their own court did not help. The victory was the sixth consecutive win for ADSC. Newly promoted ADSC maintains first place with 15-3 record. Loser Dijlah keeps the third position with six games lost. They share it with Al-Hashd.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 17: Ghaz Al-Shamal won against Nift Al-Shamal on the opponent's court 104-98. Al-Tadamoun unfortunately lost to Zakho in a home game 75-91. Al Karkh recorded a loss to Al Kahraba on the road 72-81. Al-Tadamoun defeated Al Kahraba on its own court 74-69.



Nift Al-Shamal - Ghaz Al-Shamal 98-104

The game between closely ranked teams ended with 4th placed Nift Al-Shamal's (8-11) home loss to third ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (9-9) 98-104 on Saturday. The victory was the third consecutive win for Ghaz Al-Shamal. They maintain third place with 9-9 record having just one point less than leader ADSC. Loser Nift Al-Shamal keeps the fourth position with 11 games lost.
