Al Karkh - Ghaz Al-Shamal 87-78 Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (6-8) against sixth ranked Al Karkh (6-7) on Monday night. ADSC smashed 6th ranked Al-Tadamoun in Baghdad 101-64. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Al-Tadamoun lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth place with 13 games lost. Al-Tadamoun will play next round against Al Hilla trying to get back on the winning streak. ADSC will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al-Hashd - Al Hilla 101-73 Rather expected game in Baghdad where 5th ranked Al Hilla (2-9) was crushed by third ranked Al-Hashd (8-4) 101-73 on Tuesday. Al-Hashd have a solid series of three victories in a row. They maintain third place with 8-4 record having five points less than leader ADSC. Al Hilla lost third consecutive game. They keep the fifth position with nine games lost. Al-Hashd will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al Hilla will play against Al-Tadamoun (#6) and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Al Kahraba - Ghaz Al-Shamal 109-78 Very important is a road loss of third ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (6-8) against fifth ranked Al Kahraba (6-8) on Wednesday night. Visiting Ghaz Al-Shamal was crushed by Al Kahraba in Baghdad 109-78. Al Kahraba moved-up to fourth place, which they share with defeated Ghaz Al-Shamal. Ghaz Al-Shamal lost sixth consecutive game. Al Kahraba will meet at home league's second-placed Zakho in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Ghaz Al-Shamal will have a break next round. Dijlah - Al-Tadamoun 92-67 Rather predictable result in Baghdad where fourth ranked Dijlah (7-4) smashed 6th ranked Al-Tadamoun (1-13) 92-67 on Thursday. Dijlah have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Zakho. Al-Tadamoun lost third consecutive game. They keep the sixth position with 13 games lost. Dijlah will meet at home Al Hilla (#5) in the next round. Al-Tadamoun will play against Al Hilla and it may be a tough game between close rivals. |
