The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of top-ranked ADSC (9-3) in Baghdad on Sunday night. Hosts were defeated by second ranked Zakho (6-4) 72-62. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of ADSC. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Zakho maintains second place with 6-4 record having four points less than leader Al Naft, which they share with Al-Hashd and Dijlah. Newly promoted ADSC dropped to the second position with three games lost.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baghdad: Al Shorta (#1) and Al Kahraba (#5). Al Kahraba was crushed at home by 17 points 86-103 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Undefeated Al Shorta (10-0) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row.
