Superleague Round 7: Dijlah lose their first game against ADSC

There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Dijlah (1-1) in Baghdad on Sunday night. Visitors were rolled over by ADSC (5-1) 95-75. Newly promoted ADSC maintains first place with 5-1 record, which they share with Al Naft. Dijlah at the other side keeps the fourth position with one game lost. ADSC's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al Kahraba.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baghdad: Al Shorta (#2) and Al-Hashd (#3). Al-Hashd was crushed at home by 16 points 60-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Al Shorta have a solid series of four victories in a row. They maintain second place with 4-0 record having six points less than leader ADSC. Al-Hashd at the other side keeps the third position with two games lost. Al Shorta's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena .
Another exciting game was again a derby between two local teams from Baghdad: Al Kahraba (#6) and Al-Quwa (#6). Al Kahraba (2-4) crushed visiting Al-Quwa (0-6) by 21 points 91-70. Al Kahraba maintains sixth place with 2-4 record which they share with defeated Al-Quwa. Newly promoted Al-Quwa still closes the standings with six games lost. They share the position with Al-Tadamoun. Al Kahraba's supporters look forward to another derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Baghdad ADSC.

In the last game of round 7 Al Karkh was destroyed by Al Naft on the opponent's court 85-64.



Al-Hashd - Al Shorta 60-76

Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baghdad: Al Shorta (#2) and Al-Hashd (#3). Al-Hashd was crushed at home by 16 points 60-76 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Al Shorta have a solid series of four victories in a row. Rather expected game in Baghdad where 5th ranked Al Karkh (2-3) was crushed by third ranked Al Naft (5-1) 85-64 on Saturday. Defending champion keeps a position of league leader, which they share with ADSC. Newly promoted Al Karkh keeps the fifth place with three games lost. Al Naft's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Baghdad Al Kahraba.
