Al Shorta welcomes back Bolds

Al Shorta Police (Superleague) landed experienced 38-year old American 193cm guard Demarius Bolds (college: MWSU). Bolds joins another USA player Chris Crawford who is already in the roster.
It is actually his comeback to Baghdad as he has played here before. He has played for the last two years at Nift Al-Basra in the D2. Bolds helped them to make it to the semifinals.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in eleven different countries playing on four different continents. Bolds is familiar with European, Asian, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Algeria (GS Petroliers), Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Greece (AS Apollon Patras, Lavrio and Kymis), Lebanon (Champville, Moutahed and Atlas), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), Qatar (Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah), Romania (Targu Jiu), Turkey (Final Spor), United Kingdom (Lions), Czech Republic (Kolin) and ABA (St.Louis S.). Bolds was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Greek A1 League Honorable Mention back in 2014, 2016 and 2017.
He attended previously one of camps at Eurobasket Summer League on he way to pro basketball.
Bolds graduated from Missouri Western State University in 2006 and it will be his 17th (!!!) season in pro basketball.

He is a great slasher to the basket and finishes above the rim with either hand.
Defensively he is a star who plays with a lot of intensity.
Bolds is a big time talent and a great all around player who can do it all.
