Chris Crawford

Al Shorta Police (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of 30-year old American guard Chris Crawford (193cm-100kg-1992, college: Memphis). Crawford played last season at Al Wahda in Syrian SBL league. He helped them to win the cup and make to league semifinals. Crawford also played for SLAC in Guinean league that season where in 5 Basketball Africa League games he recorded very impressive stats: 21.4ppg, 4.8rpg, 4.0apg and 1.6spg.
He has tried to make it to the NBA and played in the NBA Pro Summer League in 2014.
Crawford is quite experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on four different continents (Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in seven different countries. He has played previously professionally in France, Lebanon (Beirut Club, Homentmen and Louaize), Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan), Tunisia (US Monastir, Ezzahra and Club Africain), NBA (Memphis Grizzlies), NBA G League (Iowa Wolves and Canton Charge) and The Basketball Tournament (Memphis State and Bluff City).
The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others he was voted to Asia-Basket.com Lebanese League All-Imports Team back in 2018.
Crawford graduated from University of Memphis in 2014 and it will be his ninth season as a professional player.
