Nift Al-Shamal (Superleague) strengthened their roster with addition of experienced 34-year old American 204cm center Raymond Miller (college: CS Fullerton) for season 2022-23.

Miller played this summer at Warriors in Vietnamese VBA league. In two games just recently he recorded 9.5ppg, 11.0rpg, 1.0apg, 1.0spg and 2.0bpg. He also played for ITD Santa Tecla BC in Salvadorean Liga MB where in 15 games he averaged 13.3ppg, 10.8rpg, 1.9apg and 1.1bpg. Miller helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.

He is a very experienced player. Thanks to Miller's pro career he managed to play on five different continents (Europe, Asia, Latin America, Africa and of course North America) in ten different countries. Miller has played previously professionally in Germany (BG 89 Rotenburg/Scheessel), Honduras (Atlantida), Indonesia (Satya Wacana), Oman (Al Seeb), El Salvador (Quezaltepeque and Halcones), Libya (Al Hilal and Al Nasr), MPBA (Bloomington F.), Thailand (Mad Goat, Pilipinas and ZNO Eagles), Ecuador (Manabi) and ABA (Chicago W.C.G.).
Among many awards he was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Thailand TBSL Honorable Mention back in 2019.

He graduated from California State University, Fullerton in 2010 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season in pro basketball.
