Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Al-Hashd - Zakho 82-87 The most shocking disappointment of round 29 was a home defeat of 4th placed Al-Hashd (11-10) to fifth ranked Zakho (12-9) 87-82 in the game for the fourth place. Zakho moved-up to fourth place. Al-Hashd at the other side dropped to the fifth position with ten games lost. Zakho are looking forward to face bottom-ranked Nift Al-Shamal (#12) in Kirkuk in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al-Hashd will play on the road against Al Hilla (#8) and is hoping to win this game. Al Kahraba - Al Hilla 95-98 A very close game took place in Baghdad between Al Hilla and Al Kahraba. Ninth ranked Al Hilla (9-10) got a very close victory on the road over 10th ranked Al Kahraba (8-13). Al Hilla managed to escape with a 3-point win 98-95 on Tuesday evening. Al Hilla moved-up to eighth place. Loser Al Kahraba keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. Al Hilla will meet at home higher ranked Al-Hashd (#5) in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Al Kahraba will have a break next round. Nift Al-Basra - Nift Al-Shamal 89-73 Very expected game when 12th ranked Nift Al-Shamal (2-20) was defeated on the road by sixth ranked Nift Al-Basra (10-7) 89-73 on Wednesday. Nift Al-Basra maintains sixth place with 10-7 record. Nift Al-Shamal lost their fourth game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Nift Al-Basra will meet at home Al-Semawah (#11) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Nift Al-Shamal will play against Zakho and hope to secure a win. Al-Jameaa - Al Naft 72-84 The game between Top Four teams took place in . Second-ranked host Al-Jameaa (15-6) lost to leader Al Naft (22-0) 84-72. It ended at the same time the 11-game winning streak of Al-Jameaa. Al Naft have an impressive series of twenty two victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 22-0 record. Al-Jameaa at the other side keeps the second position with six games lost. Al Naft will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al-Jameaa will play against Al-Semawah and hopes to get back on the winning track. Al-Tadamoun - Nift Al-Shamal 72-56 Rather predictable result in Najef where ninth ranked Al-Tadamoun (10-12) defeated bottom-ranked Nift Al-Shamal (2-20) 72-56 on Friday. Al-Tadamoun moved-up to seventh place. Nift Al-Shamal lost their fourth game in a row. They stay dead last with 20 lost games. Al-Tadamoun will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Nift Al-Shamal will play against Nift Al-Basra (#6) and hope to secure a win. Al Shorta - Al Kahraba 100-87 Not a big story in a game in Baghdad where 10th ranked Al Kahraba (8-13) was defeated by third ranked Al Shorta (14-6) 100-87 on Friday. The victory was the fourth consecutive win for Al Shorta. They maintain third place with 14-6 record having ten points less than leader Al Naft. Loser Al Kahraba keeps the tenth position with 13 games lost. |
