Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.

The most exciting game of round 23 in the Superleague took place in Basra. This derby game ended with only two-point home defeat of 6th ranked Nift Al-Basra (8-5) to third ranked Al-Jameaa (11-5) 85-83 on Thursday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Nift Al-Basra. Al-Jameaa have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. They moved-up to second place. Nift Al-Basra at the other side keeps the sixth position with five games lost. Al-Jameaa are looking forward to face Ghaz Al-Shamal (#8) in Kirku in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Nift Al-Basra will have a break next round.
Another exciting game was a derby match between two teams from Baghdad: Al Naft (#1) and Al-Hashd (#4). Al Naft (16-0) won against visiting Al-Hashd (10-7) 67-61. The victory was the sixteenth consecutive win for Al Naft. Defending champion maintains first place with 16-0 record. Al-Hashd at the other side keeps the fourth position with seven games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest.
