Nift Al-Basra - Al-Tadamoun 89-71 Seventh ranked Nift Al-Basra (7-4) crushed at home 10th ranked Al-Tadamoun (6-10) by 18 points 89-71, which is the biggest margin this round on Wednesday night. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of Al-Tadamoun. Nift Al-Basra moved-up to sixth place. Al-Tadamoun at the other side keeps the tenth position with ten games lost. Nift Al-Basra are looking forward to face league's second-placed Al-Jameaa in the next round and it may be quite challenging game. Al-Tadamoun will have a break next round. Ghaz Al-Shamal - Al Kahraba 100-84 We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Kirku where 8th ranked Al Kahraba (6-8) was defeated by ninth ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (7-8) 100-84 on Wednesday. Ghaz Al-Shamal moved-up to eighth place. Loser Al Kahraba dropped to the ninth position with eight games lost. Ghaz Al-Shamal are looking forward to face higher ranked Al Hilla (#7) at home in the next round and it may be quite challenging game.
