Al Shorta sign a second foreign player

Al Shorta Police (Superleague) landed 29-year old Canadian 196cm forward Tyrrel Tate (college: Fayetteville State). Tate is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Qyidar Davis signed here earlier.
He played last season at Malvin in Uruguayan LUB league. In 8 games he averaged 11.5ppg, 1.5rpg and 2.0apg last season.
In 2014 he was drafted by Idaho Stampede (D-League) in seventh round (111th overall).
He attended Fayetteville State (NCAA Div.II) and it is his eighth season in pro basketball.
He is a very experienced player. Tate has played also professionally in Colombia (Bucaros), Mexico (Rayos de Hermosillo), NBA G League (Texas Legends, Canton Charge and Capital City Go-Go) and Canada (Windsor Express, Fraser Valley, Guelph and Five).
Among many awards his team made it to the Colombian LPB Semifinals in 2020. He was voted to USBasket.com All-NBL Canada 1st Team back in 2019.
