Davis comes back to Al Shorta, ex Bremerhaven

Al Shorta Police (Superleague) added to their roster 28-year old American 198cm swingman Qyidar Davis (college: Indiana State), agency: BMS Sport Agency. It is actually his comeback to Baghdad as he has played here before. Davis already started the season at Eisbaeren Bremerhaven in German ProA. In 6 games he recorded 4.8ppg and 2.3rpg.
Davis is a very experienced player. Thanks to his pro career he managed to play on three different continents (Asia, Latin America and of course North America) in five different countries. He has played previously professionally in Colombia (Titanes), Qatar (Al Gharafa), Uruguay (25 de Agosto), Dominican Republic (Plaza, Dosa, Reales and Barias) and Iraq (Al Karkh).
Davis won Colombian LPB championship title in 2019.
Worth to mention he played also at Eurobasket Summer League, which helped him to get the job in pro basketball.
He attended Indiana State until 2018 and it is his fourth season in pro basketball.
