Superleague Round 14: Easy game for Al-Hashd which beat Al-Semawah by 12 points- December 19, 2021
Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Al Kahraba - Al-Tadamoun 68-58 We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Baghdad where 9th ranked Al-Tadamoun (4-6) was defeated by tenth ranked Al Kahraba (3-5) 68-58 on Thursday. Al Kahraba maintains tenth position with 3-5 record. Al-Tadamoun at the other side keeps the ninth place with six games lost. Al Kahraba are looking forward to face league's second-placed Nift Al-Basra on the road in the next round and they do not belong to the favorites in that game. Al-Tadamoun will play against Al-Jameaa (#5) and is hoping to win this game. Al-Semawah - Al-Hashd 63-75 11th ranked Al-Semawah (2-7) was defeated at home by sixth ranked Al-Hashd (6-3) with the biggest margin this round 75-63 on Thursday night. Al-Hashd moved-up to third place, which they share with Zakho. Al-Semawah lost third consecutive game. They keep the eleventh position with seven games lost. Al-Hashd is looking forward to face Al Hilla (#6) at home in the next round. Al-Semawah will play against the league's leader Al Naft (#1) and is hoping to prove to their fans that they can break losing series. Nift Al-Basra - Al Hilla 70-61 Rather predictable result when fourth ranked Nift Al-Basra (6-2) defeated at home 6th ranked Al Hilla (5-4) 70-61 on Friday. Nift Al-Basra moved-up to second place. Al Hilla at the other side keeps the sixth position with four games lost. Nift Al-Basra are looking forward to face Al Kahraba (#10) in Baghdad in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Al Hilla will play on the road against Al-Hashd (#3) in Baghdad and is hoping to prove to their fans that the loss was just an accident. |
