There are only two more rounds left in the Regular Season in Superleague. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Al Kahraba - Ghaz Al-Shamal 72-88 The game between closely ranked teams ended with 9th ranked Al Kahraba's (1-3) home loss to eighth ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (3-5) 72-88 on Wednesday. Ghaz Al-Shamal moved-up to seventh place. Loser Al Kahraba dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Al Shorta and Al-Khtot. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. Zakho - Al-Khtot 112-79 Eighth ranked Zakho (3-3) crushed at home 10th ranked Al-Khtot (1-3) by 33 points 112-79, which is the biggest margin this round. Zakho moved-up to sixth place. Al-Khtot at the other side keeps the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Al Shorta and Al Kahraba. Zakho will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Al-Khtot's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al Shorta. Al-Semawah - Al-Jameaa 92-81 An interesting game took place in where higher ranked Al-Jameaa (2-2) was upset on the court of twelfth ranked Al-Semawah (2-4) 92-81 on Thursday. Al-Semawah moved-up to ninth place. Al-Jameaa at the other side dropped to the eighth position with two games lost. Al-Semawah's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in to the arena . Al Shorta - Al-Hashd 58-67 Another exciting game was a derby match between two local teams from Baghdad: Al-Hashd (#4) and Al Shorta (#9). Al Shorta was defeated at home 58-67 and even the advantage of their own court did not help. Al-Hashd have a solid series of four victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Nift Al-Basra. Loser Al Shorta dropped to the tenth position with three games lost. They share it with Al Kahraba and Al-Khtot. Al-Hashd will meet at home Al-Tadamoun (#5) in the next round. Al Shorta's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will face at home their local rival from Baghdad Al-Khtot. |
