Superleague Round 6 of Regular Season- November 8, 2021
Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Zakho - Al-Semawah 111-96 Twelfth ranked Zakho (2-3) beat at home 11th ranked Al-Semawah (1-4) by 15 points 111-96, which is the biggest margin this round. Zakho moved-up to seventh place. Al-Semawah lost fourth consecutive game. They dropped to the twelfth position with four games lost. Zakho will play against Al-Khtot (#11) in Baghdad in the next round. Al-Semawah will play against Al-Jameaa to get more than just one victory in their record. Al Hilla - Ghaz Al-Shamal 80-65 Rather expected game when 7th ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (2-5) was defeated on the road by fifth ranked Al Hilla (3-1) 80-65. Al Hilla have a solid three-game winning streak. They moved-up to third place, which they share with Al-Hashd. Ghaz Al-Shamal at the other side dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Al Hilla will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Ghaz Al-Shamal will play on the road against Al Kahraba (#9) in Baghdad and it may be a tough game between close rivals. Al-Tadamoun - Nift Al-Basra 91-95 The most shocking disappointment of round 6 in the Superleague was a home defeat of 3rd ranked Al-Tadamoun (3-2) to fourth ranked Nift Al-Basra (4-1) 95-91. It ended the three-game winning streak of Al-Tadamoun. It was a key game for the second position in the league. Nift Al-Basra moved-up to second place. Al-Tadamoun at the other side dropped to the fifth position with two games lost. Both teams do not play next round, which will be an opportunity for some rest. |
