Anthony Simpson (ex NSH) signs at Al-Khtot

Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya (Superleague) landed experienced 34-year old American 202cm power forward Anthony Simpson (college: Kent State). The last time (18-19) he played at NSH Mountain Gold Timika in the Indonesian IBL league.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in nine different countries playing on four different continents. Simpson is familiar with European, Asian, Latin American, and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Canada (The Storm and Halifax Hurricanes), Korea (Anyang KGC), Luxembourg (Residence and Etzella), Mexico (Caballeros de Culiacan and Garra Canera de Navolato), Qatar (Al Wakrah), United Kingdom, Uruguay, Palestine (Sariya) and IBA (Rockford RD).

Among many awards, his team won the Indonesian IBL Red Group Regular Season in 2019. Simpson was voted to Asia-Basket.com All-Indonesian IBL 2nd Team in 2019.

He attended Kent State until 2010 and it will be his twelfth (!!!) season in pro basketball.
