Superleague Round 2: Zakho lose their first game against Nift Al-Basra- October 29, 2021
There were only 2 rounds played so far and it's still very beginning of the Regular Season in Superleague. What a coincidence that all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by Job Market.
Ghaz Al-Shamal - Al-Tadamoun 77-81 The game in Kirku was also worth to mention about. Al-Tadamoun played at the court of Ghaz Al-Shamal. Al-Tadamoun managed to secure a 4-point victory 81-77. Al-Tadamoun will play against Al Shorta in Baghdad in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Ghaz Al-Shamal will play at home against Al-Hashd to get more than just one victory in their record. Zakho - Nift Al-Basra 77-80 The most crucial game of the last round was a loss of Zakho at the home court on Wednesday night. Hosts were edged by Nift Al-Basra 80-77. Nift Al-Basra will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Zakho will play at home against Al Naft and is hoping to prove to their fans that this time they can win. Al-Semawah - Al Kahraba 66-68 There was a minor upset when Al-Semawah was edged at home by Al Kahraba 68-66 on Wednesday. Ghaz Al-Shamal - Al Naft 65-106 The game in Kirku supposed to be also quite interesting. Al Naft played at the court of Ghaz Al-Shamal. Al Naft smashed Ghaz Al-Shamal 106-65 on Thursday. Al Naft will meet Zakho on the road in the next round where they are favorite. Ghaz Al-Shamal will play against Al-Hashd and hope to win that game. Nift Al-Shamal - Al-Hashd 66-113 Rather predictable result in Kirkuk where Al-Hashd smashed Nift Al-Shamal 113-66 on Thursday. Al-Hashd will meet Ghaz Al-Shamal in the next round. Nift Al-Shamal will play against Al Naft and hope to win that game. |
