Jermale Jones

Nift Al-Shamal (Superleague) agreed terms with experienced 34-year old American guard Jermale Jones (186cm-86, college: Tuskegee) for new 2021-22 season.

Jones played last season at Swiss Central in Swiss SBL league. In 13 NLB games he had very impressive stats: 18.1ppg, 3.3rpg, 3.8apg and 2.6spg. He helped them to make it to the Swiss NLB final after they ended regular season as second best team. Quite impressive year as he was named to Eurobasket.com All-Swiss NLB 1st Team.

The previous (19-20) season he played at Licher Basket (2.Regionalliga) in German league.

Jones has played also professionally in Luxembourg (Black Star), Romania (Politehnica Iasi) and Germany (SSV Lok Bernau).
He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top summer league for players who want to play basketball overseas.

Jones attended Tuskegee University until 2009 and it will be his 13th (hopefully lucky) (!!!) season as a professional player.
On Jones: Outstanding perimeter shooter with nice athletic skills. Great Defender. Passes the ball very well. Has high level experience in college in the SIAC.

He is a scoring machine that can shoot and score bunches very quickly. Jones was a total team player who could hit the deep ball but pass as well.
