Bolds re-signs at Nift Al-Basra- September 16, 2021
POSTED BY: Abdul Hamid Addasi
Bolds ended the previous (2019-20) season at Le Doyen (D1) in Algerian league. But the most of that year he spent at Atlas (LBL) in Lebanese league. But in only one game he recorded just point, 4 rebounds and 1 assist. He is quite experienced player. Bolds has played in eleven different countries on four different continents (Europe, Asia, Africa and of course North America). He has played previously professionally in Bahrain (Al-Muharraq), Greece (AS Apollon Patras, Lavrio and Kymis), Lithuania (Lietkabelis), Qatar (Al Rayyan and Al Wakrah), Romania (Targu Jiu), Turkey (Final Spor), United Kingdom (London Lions), Lebanon (Champville and Moutahed), Czech Republic (Kolin), Iraq (Al Shorta) and ABA (St.Louis S.). The list of the past achievements is quite long as among others his team won Lebanese League Regular Season in 2019. Bolds was selected Asia-Basket.com All-Qatar D1 Player of the Year back in 2015. He is close to retirement age as a player. It's very possible he may end his playing career at Nift Al-Basra. He is a former Eurobasket Summer League player, which is considered top international summer league on the market. He attended Missouri Western State University until 2006 and it will be his 16th (!!!) season as a professional player. Bolds could be described: A very athletic combo guard who does everything. He is a great slasher to the basket and finishes above the rim with either hand. Defensively he is a star who plays with a lot of intensity. Bolds is a big time talent and a great all around player who can do it all.
