Best players of Iraqi Superleague round 31 (by Hoops Agents)

Abdullah Dulaimi had an amazing evening in the last round for Al-Tadamoun and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 31.
The had a double-double of 18 points and fifteen rebounds, while his team beat Al Hilla (#12, 1-17) 69-54. The game was not the highest importance and did not have significant influence on top of the standings. Al-Tadamoun maintains the 9th position in Iraqi Superleague. Al-Tadamoun is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 6-11 record. It was one of impressive evenings for Dulaimi as usually he does not deliver so high stats. Abdullah Dulaimi averages this season 4.1ppg.

The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was Hussein Rubaye of AL-Adhamiya. Rubaye impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 22 points and 14 rebounds. Bad luck as AL-Adhamiya was edged by the higher-ranked Al-Khtot (#8, 7-12) 102-101. AL-Adhamiya is still in a red zone at 11th spot in the standings. 16 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories AL-Adhamiya managed to get this year. Rubaye is a newcomer at AL-Adhamiya and despite he is not a team leader yet, every game he becomes more reliable player. Hopefully performances like the last one will happen more often.

The third best performed player last round was another AL-Adhamiya's star - Ala'A Al-Saedi. Al-Saedi showcased his all-around game by recording 18 points, eleven rebounds (!!!) and six assists in the last round. Despite Al-Saedi's great performance AL-Adhamiya lost 101-102 to the higher-ranked Al-Khtot (#8, 7-12). But his team cannot count on just these two top stars as they also need help of the other teammates. AL-Adhamiya can only dream about fighting for top spots in the league. They have rather bad season and 4-16 record places them close to the bottom of the standings. Al-Saedi has a very solid season. In 5 games in Iraq he scored 15.6ppg.
