The Regular Season in Superleague is slowly approaching the end. But there may be still some important changes in the final standings in the last 3 rounds. Coincidentally all visitors won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.
Al Hilla - Al-Tadamoun 54-69 The game with biggest result difference took place in Al Hilla. Local Al Hilla (1-17) lost to ninth ranked Al-Tadamoun (6-11) 69-54. Al-Tadamoun held Al Hilla to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. They outrebounded Al Hilla 50-33 including a 37-22 advantage in defensive rebounds. Worth to mention a great performance of Abdullah Dulaimi who helped to win the game recording a double-double by scoring 18 points, 15 rebounds and 4 blocks. Mohammed Al-Fahham contributed with 10 points, 9 rebounds and 7 assists for the winners. Four Al-Tadamoun players scored in double figures. Forward AlaA Abed (195-87) answered with a double-double by scoring 21 points and 10 rebounds and Ahmed Abs added 9 points, 5 rebounds and 9 assists in the effort for Al Hilla. Al-Tadamoun maintains ninth place with 6-11 record. Al Hilla lost sixteenth consecutive game. They stay dead last with 17 lost games. Al-Tadamoun will play against higher ranked Al Kahraba (#5) in Baghdad in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Al Hilla will play at home against Nift Al-Basra (#4) to get more than just one victory in their record. This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 11th ranked AL-Adhamiya (4-16) to ninth ranked Al-Khtot (7-12) 102-101 on Tuesday evening. It ended at the same time the two-game winning streak of AL-Adhamiya. Al-Khtot held AL-Adhamiya to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Al-Khtot forced 25 AL-Adhamiya turnovers. Strangely AL-Adhamiya outrebounded Al-Khtot 54-37 including a 41-20 advantage in defensive rebounds. Hamzah Abs fired 19 points, 8 rebounds and 8 assists for the winners. Mohammed Al-Hassany chipped in 21 points and 8 rebounds. Hayder Khudhair produced 30 points and 9 rebounds and Hussein Rubaye added 22 points and 14 rebounds respectively for lost side. Five Al-Khtot and four AL-Adhamiya players scored in double figures. Al-Khtot moved-up to eighth place. AL-Adhamiya at the other side keeps the eleventh position with 16 games lost. Al-Khtot will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. AL-Adhamiya's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al-Hashd.
