Iraqi Superleague round 30 best performance: Mohamad Haidar

Lebanese Power forward Mohamad Haidar (203-F/C-90, agency: BIG) had a very impressive game in the last round for Al-Hashd, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 30.
The 30-year old player had a double-double of 16 points and 17 rebounds, while his team crushed Al Kahraba (#5, 10-5) with 18-point margin 77-59. Al-Hashd maintains the 3rd position in Iraqi Superleague. They are still close to the very top. Al-Hashd would have been even better if they kept winning the games like in the last round. They have a solid 14-3 record. Haidar turned to be Al-Hashd's top player in his first season with the team. Former Michigan Technological University star has very solid stats this year. Haidar is in league's top in points (4th best: 22.1ppg), rebounds (7th best: 9.3rpg) and averages impressive 1.1bpg.

The second best player in last round's games was Ala'A Al-Saedi of AL-Adhamiya. Al-Saedi had a very good evening with a double-double of 10 points and 13 rebounds. Of course he led AL-Adhamiya to another comfortable win outscoring slightly lower-ranked Al Hilla (#12, 1-17) 88-61. The game was between two teams which are definitely not main contenders for the title. AL-Adhamiya keeps 11th position. 15 lost games are too many comparing to just four victories AL-Adhamiya managed to get this year. Al-Saedi is a newcomer at AL-Adhamiya, but is already one of team's top players.

Third on the list of top players last round was Mohammed Al-Lawi of Nift Al-Shamal (#7). Al-Lawi showcased his all-around game by recording 23 points, twelve rebounds (!!!) and four assists in the last round. He was a key player of Nift Al-Shamal, leading his team to a 87-84 win against the lower-ranked Ghaz Al-Shamal (#10, 4-13). Al-Lawi has a very solid season. In 11 games in Iraq he scored 12.1ppg.
