Altaleb's double-double lands him Player of the Week award

Nawras Altaleb had a great game in the last round for Al-Khtot and receives a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 29.
He had a double-double of 22 points and 15 rebounds, while his team crushed Ghaz Al-Shamal (#10, 4-13) with 16-point margin 86-70. Al-Khtot is placed at 6th position in Iraqi league. Al-Khtot is rather a weak team placed in lower part in the standings. They need more victories to improve their 7-11 record. This victory allowed Al-Khtot to move up to 6th position in the standings. His team is not often considered as one of the league's best with a mere 7-11 record. Abs is a newcomer at Al-Khtot and quickly became one of team's most reliable players.

Third place about best performers goes to Mohammed Al-Lawi of Nift Al-Shamal (#7). Al-Lawi scored 24 points and grabbed ten rebounds. He was a key player of Nift Al-Shamal, leading his team to a 73-63 win against slightly higher-ranked Al-Khtot (#6, 7-11). Al-Lawi has a very solid season. In 10 games in Iraq he scored 11.0ppg.
