This derby game ended with only one-point home defeat of 5th ranked Al-Tadamoun (5-5) to seventh ranked Al-Khtot (6-9) 60-59 in the game for the fifth place. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al-Tadamoun. Al-Khtot held Al-Tadamoun to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Hussein Al-Mahmood replied with a double-double by scoring 17 points and 11 rebounds and Hasan Al-Akrat added 7 points and 11 rebounds in the effort for Al-Tadamoun. Al-Khtot moved-up to fifth place. Al-Tadamoun at the other side dropped to the sixth position with five games lost. They share it with Nift Al-Basra.
