Al Shorta welcomes back Sykes, ex Windsor Exp.

Al Shorta Police (Superleague) landed 30-year old American guard Isaiah Sykes (198cm-98kg-91, college: UCF). He joins another USA player Qyidar Davis who is already in the roster.
It is actually Sykes' comeback to Baghdad as he has played here before. He played most recently at Windsor Express in Canadian NBL. In only one NBLCanada game he had 14 points and 4 rebounds last season.
The previous (18-19) season Sykes played at Moutahed in Lebanese LBL where in 6 games he averaged 7.2ppg, 5.8rpg, 2.0apg and 1.5spg.
He is a very experienced player. Sykes has quite traveled the world as his pro career brought him to four different countries on three different continents (Europe, Asia and of course North America). Sykes has played previously professionally in Germany (White Wings), Israel (Hasharon and Hapoel Afula), Italy (Recanati) and Iraq (Al Kahraba).
Sykes' team made it to the C-USA Tournament Semifinals in 2012.
He attended University of Central Florida until 2014 and it will be his eighth season in pro basketball.
