Arlando Cook

Zakho (Superleague) strengthened their roster with the addition of 25-year old American center Arlando Cook (203-98kg-95, college: Arkansas). He played most recently at Abha Club in Saudi Arabian SBL league. In 7 games he was the best scorer with an impressive 29.9ppg and had 11.3rpg last season.

The most of previous (2019) summer Cook spent at Atletico Welcome in Uruguayan Metropolitan where in 13 games he recorded very remarkable stats: 18.5ppg, 11.3rpg, 1.2apg, 2.0spg and 1.0bpg in 2019 season. A very spectacular year in his career as he was voted to Latinbasket.com All-Uruguay Metropolitan League Honorable Mention. He also played for Kinwa (Libobasquet) in the Bolivian league. Cook helped them to win the regular season and make it to the final.

He has played also professionally in Argentina (Rocamora).

The list of past achievements is quite long as among others his college team won OCAC Tournament for two years in a row (2015 and 2016). Cook received also the All-OCAC 1st Team award back in 2016.

Cook attended the University of Arkansas until 2018 and it will be his third season as a professional player.
