Al Mina had a 39-18 advantage in offensive rebounds. American point guard Jeffery Stubbs (189-91, college: Jackson St.) scored 30 points, 7 rebounds and 5 assists to lead the charge for the winners and the former international power forward Mohammed Mahdi (202-80) chipped in 19 points and 11 rebounds during the contest. Guard Abbas Al-Draisawi (188-98) responded with 29 points and 8 rebounds and Rashwan Kadhim scored 13 points and 5 rebounds. Al-Tadamoun's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help.

Adil Albasrawi notched a double-double by scoring 15 points and 27 rebounds to lead the effort and American forward John Dickson (198-90, college: Sacramento St.) supported him with 26 points. Even a double-double of 21 points and 10 rebounds by American guard Chris Johnson (192-91, college: St.Catharine) did not help to save the game for Duhok. The former international center Ali Hameed (208-84) added 15 points, 8 rebounds and 4 blocks for the guests. Duhok's coach tested ten players seeing no chance for a win.

Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.

The former international swingman Demario Mayfield (196-91, college: Angelo St., agency: Two Points) chipped in 20 points, 5 rebounds and 7 assists. Four Al Naft players scored in double figures. Mohammed Zewki produced a double-double by scoring 22 points and 17 rebounds and center Mohammed Hussein (195-1) added 27 points respectively for the hosts. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.
