An interesting game for Al Shurtah (7-2) which hosted in Baghdad 4th ranked Duhok (6-4). Second ranked Al Shurtah had an easy win 99-74. Al Shurtah held Duhok to an opponent 0.0 percent shooting from the field compared to 0.0 percent accuracy of the winners. Worth to mention a great performance of American swingman Rashad Woods (197-86, college: Kent St.) who helped to win the game recording 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. The former international forward Thulfiqar Hammoodi (196-92) contributed with 15 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists for the winners. American guard Chris Johnson (192-91, college: St.Catharine) replied with a double-double by scoring 26 points and 10 rebounds for Duhok. Al Shurtah maintains second position with 7-2 record behind leader Al Naft. Duhok lost fourth consecutive game. Newly promoted team keeps the fourth place with four games lost.

At the losing side the former international center Malik Nahi (210-88) responded with a double-double by scoring 16 points and 11 rebounds. Undefeated Al Naft have an impressive eight-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 8-0 record. Al Kahraba at the other side keeps the eleventh place with eight games lost.
