Coincidentally all hosts won their games. Here is the last round review presented by ESL.

The most crucial game of the last round was the first loss of Al Shurtah (4-1) on the court of leader Al Karkh on Thursday night. Visitors were edged by Al Karkh 93-90. It ended at the same time the four-game winning streak of Al Shurtah. It was a key game for the top position in the league. Undefeated Al Karkh (5-0) have an impressive series of five victories in a row. They maintain first place with a perfect record of 5 victories in a row. Al Shurtah at the other side keeps the second position with one game lost. They share it with Al Naft. Al Karkh are looking forward to face Nift Al-Janoub (#6) in Basra in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Al Shurtah will play at home against Al Hilla (#5) and is hoping to prove to their supporters that this time they can win.
Zakho has registered their first victory this season after three consecutive losses. The win is especially important as they defeated much higher ranked Al Mina (2-3) 94-88. Zakho (1-3) left bottom position moving up to eighth place. Al Mina at the other side dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. Zakho will play against Al-Tadamoun (#9) in Najef in the next round. Al Mina will have a break next round.
Bottom-ranked Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya (0-4) is still winless. But it was rather predictable considering how strong their opponent was. This time they lost on the road their fourth consecutive match to fourth ranked Al Naft (4-1) 102-58 on Wednesday evening. Defending champion moved-up to second place, which they share with Al Shurtah. Al-Khtot Al-Jawiya lost their fourth game in a row. They still close the standings with four games lost. Al Naft's supporters look forward to an exciting derby game next round, where their team will travel locally in Baghdad to the arena Al Kahraba.

In the last game of round 5 Al-Tadamoun lost to Al Hilla on the opponent's court 66-75.
