Taylor
Defending champion Al Nift Baghdad (IBL) landed 32-year old American guard Tayloe Taylor (191-86, college: Livingstone). He played in the summer at Memphis State (The Basketball Tournament) in the U.S. Taylor managed to play in three leagues in three countries last year (!!!). He ended the last season at Politehnica Iasi (Liga Nationala) in league where in 12 games he averaged impressive 21.5ppg, 5.0rpg, 6.4apg and 2.2spg. But the most of that year Taylor spent at Union Neuchatel Basket (SBL) in league. In 18 games he had very remarkable stats: 15.5ppg, 3.9rpg, 3.8apg and 2.2spg.
He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball Taylor experienced life in six different countries playing on three different continents. He is familiar with European, Latin American and of course North American leagues. Taylor has played previously professionally in Finland (LoKoKo Bisons), Italy (Ruvo), Mexico (Pioneros Los Mochis), Romania (Craiova), MBL (Dayton Air Strikers) and CBA (Memphis SK).
He attended Livingstone College until 2009 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball.
