They maintain first place with 14-3 record. Mahshahr lost eleventh consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Alborz. Esteghlal are looking forward to face Pas Kordestan (#9) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mahshahr will play against Golnoor and is hoping to prove to their supporters that they can break losing series.
The game in was also worth to mention about. Seventh ranked Golnoor (9-8) played at the court of 8th ranked Raad Padafan (5-11). Golnoor managed to secure a 4-point victory 74-70. Golnoor maintains seventh place with 9-8 record. Raad Padafan lost third consecutive game. They keep the eighth position with 11 games lost. Golnoor will play against Mahshahr (#11) at home in the next round. Raad Padafan will play against Kalleh in Amol and hopes to get back on the winning track.
The game in Abadan was also quite interesting. Second ranked Gorgan (13-3) played at the court of 5th ranked Naft Abadan (9-7). Gorgan managed to secure a 7-point victory 94-87 on Monday. Defending champion maintains second place with 13-3 record behind leader Esteghlal, which they share with Kalleh. Naft Abadan at the other side keeps the fifth position with seven games lost. They share it with Naft Zagros. Gorgan will meet at home Alborz (#10) in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Naft Abadan will play against Tabiat (#4) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

In the last two games of round 17 Kalleh defeated Alborz in Amol 90-80. Pas Kordestan was beaten by Naft Zagros at home 79-84.



Alborz - Kalleh 80-90

There was no surprise when 10th ranked Alborz (3-13) was defeated at home by third ranked Kalleh (13-3) 90-80 on Monday. Kalleh have a solid series of three victories in a row. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Gorgan. Alborz lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth position with 13 games lost. They share it with Mahshahr. Kalleh will meet at home Raad Padafan (#8) in the next round which should be theoretically an easy game. Alborz will play against the league's second-placed Gorgan and hope to secure a win.

Raad Padafan - Golnoor 70-74

Naft Zagros will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pas Kordestan will play against the league's leader Esteghlal (#1) in Qeshm and hope to secure a win.
