Iranian Superleague round 15 best performance: Djordje Gagic (by Hoops Agents)

Serbian Center Djordje Gagic (210-C-1990, agency: Alti Sport) had a very impressive game in the last round for Kalleh Mazandaran Amol, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 15.
The 35-year old player had a double-double of 32 points and 12 rebounds, while his team edged out Gorgan (11-3) 80-77. The game was between two of the league's top four teams. Kalleh maintains the 3rd position in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kalleh will need more victories to improve their 11-3 record. In the team's last game Gagic had a remarkable 61.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Kalleh's top player in his first season with the team. Djordje Gagic has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (8th best: 18.6ppg) and averages impressive 58.5% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Michael Frazier II (193-G-1994) of Palayesh Naft Abadan. Frazier II had a very good evening with 41 points, 6 rebounds and 5 assists. Of course he led Naft Abadan to another comfortable win 88-69 over slightly lower-ranked Golnoor (#7, 7-8) being unquestionably team leader. Naft Abadan's 5th position in the standings has not changed. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-5 record is not bad and everything may still change. Frazier II is a newcomer at Naft Abadan, but is already one of team's top players. He belongs to the best scorers in the league with 27.4ppg (#1). He also recorded 3.3 assists per game.

Third on the list of top players last round was American guard Marquis Davison (196-G-2000) of Golnoor Isfahan (#7). Davison scored 17 points and grabbed 17 rebounds (!!!). Despite Davison's great performance the Golnoor lost 69-88 to slightly higher-ranked Naft Abadan (#5, 9-5). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The chances of Golnoor ranking at the top of the league, however are very questionable as they have already lost 8 games, recording just seven victories. With bigger assistance of his teammates, Davison could help Golnoor to bring them higher in the standings. Davison has a very solid season. In 4 games in Iran he scored 11.3ppg.

10. Parrish Petty (185-PG-1988) of Gorgan - 19 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists
