Esteghlal's coach rotated ten players in this game, but that didn't help. Gorgan (11-1) have an impressive series of ten victories in a row. As mentioned above they are alone now at the top position. Esteghlal lost third consecutive game. They keep the second place with three games lost. Esteghlal will play next round against Naft Abadan trying to get back on the winning streak. They share it with Golnoor. Naft Abadan will meet league's second-placed Esteghlal in the next round and it will be quite challenging to get another victory. Other games in round 13 were not that significant. Pas Kordestan was smashed by Raad Padafan on the road 78-56. Tabiat won against Mahshahr on its own court 97-79. Golnoor unfortunately lost to Kalleh in Amol 73-89.



Raad Padafan - Pas Kordestan 78-56

There was a small surprise when ninth ranked Raad Padafan (5-8) crushed at home their close opponent Pas Kordestan (5-9) 78-56 on Monday. Raad Padafan moved-up to eighth place. Pas Kordestan at the other side keeps the ninth position with nine games lost. Raad Padafan will have a break next round, and it should allow them to practice more before next game. Pas Kordestan will play against Mahshahr (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Tabiat - Mahshahr 97-79

Very expected game when 11th ranked Mahshahr (3-11) lost on the road to fourth ranked Tabiat (9-5) 97-79 on Monday. Tabiat dominated down low during the game scoring 56 of its points in the paint compared to Mahshahr's 32. Tabiat had a 31-19 advantage in offensive rebounds. They looked well-organized offensively handing out 26 assists comparing to just 13 passes made by Mahshahr's players. Great defensive blocking was one of the keys in this match when Tabiat made 9 blocks.
