Iranian Superleague round 11 best performance: Mohammad Jamshidi (by Hoops Agents)

International Mohammad Jamshidi (199-SF-1991, agency: BIG) had an amazing evening in the last round for Naft Zagros Jonoubi, receiving a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 11.
The 34-year old player tried to help (29 points, seven rebounds and nine assists) his team in a lost game to Kalleh (#3, 8-2) 87-104. Naft Zagros maintains the 5th position in Iranian Superleague. Naft Zagros is a typical solid league team placed somewhere in the middle or a little bit lower in the standings. But it was their 5th lost game this season out of 11 games. In the team's last game Jamshidi had a remarkable 57.1% from 2-point range. He turned to be Naft Zagros' top player in his first season with the team. Mohammad Jamshidi has solid league stats. He is in league's top in points (3rd best: 25.3ppg), assists (3rd best: 5.6apg) and averages impressive 54.0% FGP.

The second best player in last round's games was young American Dwight Buycks (191-PG-1989) of Kalleh Mazandaran Amol. Buycks had a very good evening with 28 points, 7 rebounds and 4 assists. Third on the list of top players last round was international forward Sajjad Pazrofteh (205-F-1996) of Palayesh Naft Abadan (#6). Pazrofteh showcased his all-around game by recording 20 points, 13 rebounds (!!!) and 6 assists in the last round. He was a key player of Naft Abadan, leading his team to a 113-65 easy win against the lower-ranked Pas Kordestan (#9, 3-8). Naft Abadan needs these victories very badly if they think about getting closer to top teams. Their record at this point is 6 victories and 5 lost games. Pazrofteh has a great season in Iran. After 11 games, he made it on the list of the league's leaders in rebounds with 7.9rpg (5th best).
