The most surprising game was a loss of Naft Abadan on the court of Naft Zagros on Thursday night. Visitors were defeated by Naft Zagros 104-88. Naft Zagros is looking forward to face Alborz on the road in the next round. Naft Abadan will play against Esteghlal and is hoping to win this game.
Important game to mention about took place in Qeshm. Esteghlal saved a 2-point victory at home edging Gorgan 85-83 on Thursday evening. Esteghlal will play against Naft Abadan on the road in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Gorgan will play against Golnoor to get more than just one victory in their record.
Mahshahr was outscored at home by Tabiat with the biggest margin this round 77-47 on Thursday night. Tabiat will meet at home Kalleh in the next round where they are favorite. Mahshahr will play against Pas Kordestan and hope to win that game.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 2: Alborz won against Shahrod on the opponent's court 85-75. Pas Kordestan managed to outperform Raad Padafan in a home game 91-82. Kalleh managed to beat Golnoor on the road 68-57.
