Gligorije Rakocevic

Tabiat (Superleague) landed 30-year old Montenegrin ex-international 211cm center Gligorije Rakocevic (college: Oregon State) for upcoming season. Rakocevic is the second foreign player in the roster as USA Antwan Scott signed here earlier.
He played most recently at Club Africain in Tunisian ProA. He helped them to win the league title despite they ended the regular season at the second place. They also made it to the Cup final. He also played for Alba in Hungarian A Division where in 14 games he averaged 8.1ppg and 4.1rpg last season. A very good year in his career as he was voted to Eurobasket.com All-Hungarian League All-Bosmans Team. Rakocevic was a member of Montenegrin Senior National Team back in 2017.
He is a very experienced player. Rakocevic has played also professionally in Poland (Zastal and Twarde Pierniki), Turkey (Haremspor), Montenegro (Lovcen and Mornar) and Czech Republic (Usti n/Labem).
He graduated from Oregon State in 2019 and it will be his seventh season in pro basketball. Rakocevic played also for High School for 2 years.
