Iran U16 - Saudi Arabia U16 87-43

Iran dominated from the opening tip, pulling away early to defeat Saudi Arabia 87–43 in their FIBA U16 Asia Cup 2025 Group D debut. A 22–15 first quarter set the tone, and by halftime Iran had stretched the margin to 47–25 behind balanced scoring and aggressive defense. The third quarter proved decisive, with Iran outscoring their opponents 21–8 to all but seal the result. Despite Saudi Arabia’s effort to stay competitive, Iran’s superior pace, depth, and execution ensured a comfortable win to kick off their campaign.
Alireza Rashidi top-scored for the winners with 23 points and AmirReza Azari poured in 13. Abdulbaari Peake answered with 7 points in defeat.
