Three games were played at the start of the Quarterfinal stage in Iran. Tabiat overcame Shahrod 89-70 in the opener. Palayesh Naft Abadan beat Mahgol Alborz 78-69 as Mahgol Alborz led the way with 20 points.
Kalleh meanwhile overcame Zob Ahan 97-67. Dwight Buycks (191-PG-1989, college: Marquette) stepped up with 31 points for the winners.
