Al Ahli signs Jamail Jones, ex Zob Ahan

Al Ahli Amman (Premier League) landed 32-year old American 201cm forward Jamail Jones (college: FGCU). He joined Zane Najdawi who is already in the roster.

He played most recently at Zob Ahan in Iranian Superleague. In 28 games he averaged 10.2ppg and 4.3rpg last season. He helped them to end the regular season as a second best team in the league. They also advanced to the league semifinals.

He is a very experienced player. And here thanks to pro basketball he experienced life in five different countries playing on four different continents. Jones is familiar with European, Latin American, African and of course North American leagues. He has played previously professionally in Brazil (Campo Mourao), Germany (Elchingen), Italy (Ruvo di Puglia and Nuova Pallacanestro Sarno) and Cape Verde (Plateau Warriors).

Jones graduated from Florida Gulf Coast University in 2015 and it will be his tenth season in pro basketball. He played also for Marquette University for 2 years.
