Superleague Round 10 (Regular Season): No surprise as #1 Tabiat defeat Raad

Superleague top team - Tabiat (10-0) had no problems winning another game on Saturday. This time they crushed eleventh ranked Raad (2-8) in Mashhad 122-85. Undefeated Tabiat have an impressive ten-game winning streak. Defending champion maintains first position with 10-0 record. Raad lost third consecutive game. They dropped to the tenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Foolad. Tabiat are looking forward to face Ishafan (#5) in the next round. Raad will play against Foolad (#10) in Bandar Abbass and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Mahshahr was also worth to mention about. Third ranked Naft Abadan (8-2) played at the court of 7th ranked Mahshahr (3-5). Naft Abadan managed to secure a 4-point victory 93-89. Naft Abadan have an impressive seven-game winning streak. They moved-up to second place, which they share with Kalleh. Newly promoted Mahshahr dropped to the eighth position with five games lost. Naft Abadan will play against bottom-ranked Ayandeh Sazan (#12) in Tehran in the next round and are hoping to win another game. Mahshahr will play against Shahrod (#7) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.
The game in Alborz was also quite interesting. 6th ranked Shahrod (4-6) played at the court of eighth ranked Alborz (4-5). Alborz defeated Shahrod 81-67 on Saturday. Alborz moved-up to sixth place. Shahrod at the other side, also newcomer in the league, dropped to the seventh position with six games lost. Alborz will meet Zob Ahan (#9) in the next round. Shahrod will play against Mahshahr and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

There were no shocking results in the other games in round 10: Zob Ahan was destroyed by Ishafan on the opponent's court 85-52. Kalleh managed to outperform Foolad in a home game 102-98. Gorgan managed to beat Ayandeh Sazan on the road 77-68.



Raad - Tabiat 85-122

However just four-point win is not that big difference and the fans of host team counted on more convincing victory. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains second position with 8-2 record having just two points less than leader Tabiat, which they share with Naft Abadan. Foolad lost fifth consecutive game. They keep the tenth place with eight games lost. They share the position with Raad. Kalleh will meet Gorgan (#4) on the road in the next round. Foolad will play against Raad (#11) and it may be a tough game between close rivals.

Mahshahr - Naft Abadan 89-93

Newly promoted Ayandeh Sazan stay at the bottom place with eight games lost. Gorgan will meet at home league's second-placed Kalleh in the next round and it may be the game of the week. Ayandeh Sazan will play against Naft Abadan (#3) and hope to win that game.
