Superleague Round 7 (Regular Season): No surprise as #1 Tabiat defeat Mahshahr

Superleague top team - Tabiat (7-0) had no problems winning another game on Monday. This time they crushed seventh ranked Mahshahr (2-3) 82-50. Undefeated Tabiat have an impressive series of seven victories in a row. Defending champion maintains first place with 7-0 record. Newly promoted Mahshahr keeps the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Zob Ahan.
Bottom-ranked Ayandeh Sazan (0-6) is still winless. This time they lost on the road their sixth consecutive match to eleventh ranked Raad (2-5) 78-72. Raad moved-up to tenth place, which they share with Foolad. Ayandeh Sazan lost their sixth game in a row. Newly promoted team still closes the standings with six games lost.
The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked Kalleh (6-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Ishafan (3-4). Kalleh managed to secure a 8-point victory 85-77 on Monday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kalleh. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader Tabiat. Ishafan at the other side, also newcomer in the league, keeps the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Shahrod.

There were no shocking results in the rest of the games of round 7: Alborz won against Foolad on the opponent's court 115-113. Naft Abadan managed to outperform Shahrod in a home game 90-74. Zob Ahan was rolled over Gorgan on the road 101-75.



Ishafan - Kalleh 77-85

The game in was also quite interesting. Second ranked Kalleh (6-1) played at the court of 5th ranked Ishafan (3-4). Kalleh managed to secure a 8-point victory 85-77 on Monday. The victory was the fifth consecutive win for Kalleh. Newly promoted Kalleh maintains second place with 6-1 record behind leader Tabiat. We cannot really consider it an upset in the game between close teams in Bandar Abbass where 9th ranked Foolad (2-5) was edged by tenth ranked Alborz (2-4) 115-113 on Monday. Alborz moved-up to ninth place. Loser Foolad dropped to the tenth position with five games lost. They share it with Raad.

Raad - Ayandeh Sazan 78-72

They maintain third place with 5-2 record having just two points less than leader Tabiat, which they share with Gorgan. Shahrod lost their fourth game in a row. Newly promoted team dropped to the fifth position with four games lost. They share it with Ishafan.

Gorgan - Zob Ahan 101-75

Not a big story in a game when 8th ranked Zob Ahan (2-3) was rolled over on the road by fourth ranked Gorgan (5-2) 101-75 on Monday. Gorgan moved-up to third place, which they share with Naft Abadan. Loser Zob Ahan dropped to the seventh position with three games lost. They share it with Mahshahr.

Tabiat - Mahshahr 82-50
