Tabiat inks Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson, ex Winnipeg

Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson

Defending champion Tabiat (Superleague) agreed terms with 33-year old Canadian-Jamaican point guard Jarred Ogungbemi-Jackson (178cm-1991, college: Calgary, agency: Slash Sports) for new 2024-25 season. Ogungbemi-Jackson is the second import player in the roster as Croatian Ivan Buva signed here earlier.
He played this summer at Winnipeg Sea Bears in Canadian CEBL. In 17 games just recently he had 13.3ppg, 2.8rpg and 3.6apg. The last season he played at BC Minsk in Belarusian league where in 33 VTB United League games he was league's second best scorer with impressive 18.9ppg and averaged 3.5rpg and 4.3apg. He was also named League Player of the Week.
He represented Canada at the World University Games in Gwangju (South Korea) nine years ago. His stats at that event were 7 games: 5.9ppg, 3.1rpg, 2.7apg, 1.3spg, FGP: 27.8%, 3PT: 34.8%, FT: 87.5%.
Ogungbemi-Jackson is quite experienced player. He has played also professionally in Denmark (Bakken), Finland (Kataja), France (Aix Maurienne and Entente Orleans 45), Holland (Groningen), Portugal (Galitos-Barreiro) and Spain (Lleida).
Ogungbemi-Jackson graduated from University of Calgary in 2015 and it will be his tenth season as a professional player.
