Kalleh made 25-of-32 charity shots (78.1 percent) during the game. Zob Ahan was plagued by 24 personal fouls down the stretch. It was an exceptional evening for the former international Matin Aghajanpour (198-2001) who led the winners and scored 32 points and 4 assists. The former international Amirhossein Yazarloo (196-2002) accounted for 30 points for the winning side. American point guard Dwight Buycks (191-1989, college: Marquette, agency: Epic Sports Consulting LLC) came up with 25 points and the other American import forward Jamail Jones (201-1992, college: FGCU, agency: Epic Sports Consulting LLC) added 10 points and 6 rebounds respectively for Zob Ahan in the defeat. The winner was already known earlier in the game, so both coaches allowed to play the bench players saving starting five for next games.

Gorgan dominated down low during the game scoring 48 of its points in the paint compared to Limondis' 10. They outrebounded Limondis 48-26 including a 31-17 advantage in defensive rebounds. The best player for the winners was the former international Arsalan Kazemi (201-1990, college: Oregon, agency: BIG) who had a double-double by scoring 14 points and 18 rebounds (on 6-of-7 shooting from the field). Mohammad Yousefvand chipped in a double-double by scoring 12 points and 12 rebounds. Five Gorgan players scored in double figures. At the other side the best for losing team was American point guard Jalen Bradley (185-1993, college: ORU, agency: Haylett Sports) who recorded 26 points and Vahid Aliabadi (197) added 19 points respectively. Both coaches used bench players which allowed the starters a little rest for the next games.
