Iran posted second straight win at the 2025 FIBA Asia Cup Qualifiers. They improved to a 2-0 record in Group E defeating India 86-53.
Iran dominated the game from the start and after two wins in the first half enjoyed a 10-point halftime advantage. Iran netted a 25-12 surge in the third quarter and closed the game with a final 19-9 run.
Behnam Yakhchali (196-SG-1995, agency: BIG) stepped up with 15 points, whilst Mohammad Amini (202-G-2005, agency: BIG) and Salar Monji (203-C-1997, agency: BIG) had 14 each. Pranav Prince (198-G-2003) replied with 11 points in the losing effort.
