Experienced American Corin Henry (183-PG-1988, agency: BIG) put on an extraordinary performance in the last round for Mes Kerman and that's him to receive a Hoops Agents Player of the Week award for round 18. The 35-year old playmaker had the game-high 30 points adding four rebounds and seven assists for Kerman in his team's victory, helping them to crush Naft Abadan (#5, 11-7) with 16-point margin 83-67. Kerman maintains the 6th position in Iranian Superleague. They would have been even better if they hadn't lost a few games earlier this season. Kerman will need more victories to improve their 10-8 record. In the team's last game Henry had a remarkable 53.3% from 2-point range. He turned to be Kerman's top player in his first season with the team. Tarleton State University graduate has very impressive stats this year. Henry is in league's top in assists (3rd best: 5.4apg) and averages solid 2.2spg.
The second most remarkable performance in last round's games was young international center Meisam Mirzaei (209-C-1992) of Kalleh Mazandaran Amol. Mirzaei impressed basketball fans with a double-double of 17 points and 19 rebounds. Bad luck as Kalleh lost that game 82-87 to the higher-ranked Mahram (#4, 11-7). Kalleh managed to keep the same 7th spot in the standings. His team lost some distance to top teams. But a 9-9 record is not bad and everything may still change. Mirzaei is well-known by Kalleh fans and he already established his position as one of team's most reliable players.
The third best performed player last round was international center Hamed Haddadi (218-C-1985, agency: BIG) of Palayesh Naft Abadan (#5). Haddadi showcased his all-around game by recording 21 points, 12 rebounds (!!!) and 4 assists in the last round. Despite Haddadi's great performance the Naft Abadan lost 67-83 to slightly lower-ranked Kerman (#6, 10-8). But his team cannot count on just a single player as he also needs help of the other teammates. The last thing Naft Abadan needs is to lose another game like this one. They lose more and more distance to the top teams. Their record is 11 victories and 7 lost games. Haddadi has a very solid season. In 4 games in Iran he scored 16.8ppg.
